Who am I?

Hi, I’m Bradley.

I am an industrial designer by trade and an inventor by nature. I’m obsessed with finding ways to make life better.

My favorite part of the design process is falling in love with the problem and brainstorming on how to solve it.

Outside of the design world I am a sports enthusiast, originally from Northern Kentucky. I live for competition, laughter, and adrenaline.

Design Experience

Industrial Design Intern

Worked collaboratively with a team of designers and engineers to solve client’s problems and bring their visions to life. Utilized rapid ideation sketching and refined digital sketching techniques to rapidly deliver concept iterations in high quantity. Built CAD models in SolidWorks for rendering out detailed concepts in Keyshot, as well as for the purposes of rapid prototyping and engineering handoff. Additionally, lead an intern project that saw the mechanical engineering intern and myself design, fabricate, and install a lighting installation in an M3 meeting room, while staying within an allotted labor and materials budget.

Front End Innovation Design Intern

Working on the Front End Innovation team at Milwaukee Tool, I created a 10 year future vision for a system of products currently in development. My process included re-mining existing company research, conducting first person research on job-sites, leading ideation sessions for 20+ people, storyboarding, isometric rendering, system mapping, concept sketch rendering, and building presentations. I also worked on two project teams, assisting the lead designers and working with electrical and mechanical engineers, design researchers, and project managers.

Design Research Studio

Collaborated remotely with 16 students of multidisciplinary backgrounds and members of the Kao team. Researched, conceptualized, and designed a digital complement to Kao’s product line, utilizing their brand language and identity.

Design Research Studio

Worked with a team of four design students and Gensler team members. Developed an innovative solution to young adults aging out of foster care systems. Restructured an existing floor plan, 3D modeled and rendered the concept, and assisted in brand development.

Industrial Design Intern

During my 8 months with Blackstone, I independently carried eight accessories projects from design brief to engineering hand off as the lead designer. My process included market research and testing, brainstorming, thumbnail and ideation sketching, rapid prototyping, ergonomics testing, sketch rendering, rapid CAD ideation, CAD refinement, CMF document development, product rendering and in context rendering. I worked with a team of designers, engineers, and project managers throughout each of these processes. Additionally, I worked on smaller factory revision projects as well as face lifts to existing products.
